I've been saying this forever...like the old adage says, if you put a frog in boiling water it will jump right out of the pot, but put a frog in cold water and turn the heat up slowly, it will sit there and die. That's exactly what governments across the world are doing in the form of watching your every move via CCTV cameras. They've been putting cameras up everywhere in the "interest" of the public, whether it be for traffic reports, red-light runners, safety, etc. But they don't do it all at once. They turn up the heat little by little to the point where we frogs become desensitized to their actions and don't mind cameras at all. Well, in the crime arena, it looks like cameras in the UK don't seem to thwart crime at all. Moreover, the cameras have only solved 3% of street crime. So now that we know they are essentially useless, do you think the government will stop using the cameras? I'm asking rhetorically of course. When will people stand up and reclaim their liberties?
